Dr. Maryna Goergy, DDS
Dentist
Dr. Goergy graduated from The Ohio State College of Dentistry in 2013. She completed a one year General Practice Residency in Denver, Colorado. When it comes to dentistry, she likes using her chair as an opportunity to practice her standup comedy routine. She loves getting to know and taking care of her patients and brings a lot of fun energy and skill to the practice! She loved the wild west but as an Ohio native, missed her family too much to stay away. Along with her parents, she has a brother and a sister and brother-in-law and their three crazy kids, Noah, Grayson and Amelia.
Dr. Michelle Guan, DMD
Associate Dentist
Dr. Guan earned her dental degree from The University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine. After graduation, she made Ohio her home and completed a general practice residency at Summa Health System. Prior to becoming a dentist, Dr. Guan was a research scientist studying the underlying mechanisms of enamel development. She found dentistry as her true passion because it allows her to apply the scientific insight and manual skills that she gained from her research experience to directly influence and enhance people’s oral health. She truly enjoys providing the best quality comprehensive dental care to all her patients. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, hiking, and traveling to different places in the world.
Samantha
Office Manager
Samantha is our highly skilled, detail All-Star Office Manager. She started her dental career as a Dental Assistant in 2010, while attending Stark State College. She later transitioned to an insurance and administrative role at the front desk. As the Office Manager, she is dedicated to our patient's care and providing positive dental experiences for all. Samantha is married with twin children. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, outdoor activities, reading, watching OSU football, and attending her children’s events.
Kate
Front Office Coordinator
Kate is a woman of many talents and a positive, uplifting force in our office. She has been in dentistry for 5 years. She enjoys spending the weekend with friends and family, and two dogs Zeek and Baker. Kate also loves to craft and crochet, and she helps Dr. Goergy with handyman projects around the office.
Brandy
Expanded Function Dental Assistant
Brandy is our ever impressive and amazingly thorough EFDA. She has acquired a wealth of knowledge and experience during her 16 years in dentistry. Brandy went on to further her education by graduating from Case Western Reserve University Expanded Function Dental Auxiliary program. She enjoys giving her patients the best possible care. When she is not chairside with patients, she is busy raising her sons with her husband Bryan. In her spare time she enjoys running, biking and entertaining her two cats.
Bobbie Jo
Dental Assistant
Bobbie Jo is a wonderful new addition to our team, working as a dental assistant for over 2 years with her radiology certification. Bobbie Jo brings a positive, happy, bubbly vibe with genuine concern and compassion for her patients. Bobbie Jo enjoys working out and hiking In her free time as well as enjoying her big family and cruising in her Jeep.
Kaleigh
Hygienist
Kaleigh is our spectacular 2015 dental hygiene graduate of Stark State College! You'll know her by her laugh which you can hear anywhere and it always makes you happier. She has resided in Wadsworth with her husband Mike and two adorable kids, Payton and Logan, for 5 years. Outside of work, she enjoys camping and hanging out with her family.
Kylie
Hygienist
Kylie is our lively and sparkling dental hygienist here at Norton Family Dentistry. She has been in dentistry for four years; previously as a dental assistant and she graduated as a dental hygienist in 2019. Kylie was born and raised in Norton, Ohio. She loves working with her patients and believes a smile is the prettiest thing you can wear. When she’s not cleaning teeth you can find her spending time with her family and friends and during football season at the Ohio State games!
Jenny
Hygienist
Jennifer is a gentle and skilled dental hygienist at Norton Family Dentistry. She began practicing dentistry since 1995 as a lab technician furthering her career as a dental assistant, then graduating as a dental hygienist in 2004 from Stark State College. When not in the office, Jenny loves spending time with her family as well as time in the outdoors, camping, biking, and hiking and with her dog Cooper. Dentistry has always been her number one passion.
